TV series "European Folktales"

Dear colleagues,

for the TV series "European Folktales" I am looking for expert advisers.

Together with the Prague-based movie and TV production company Bionaut films I have prepared a project for an English TV documentary series focused on demonical and fantastical beings of European folk literature.

We are negotiating a possible collaboration with the British director Paul Olding who will visit Prague in a few weeks and is quite interested in being supervisor or director the project. He directed some science documentaries for BBC such as "Wonders of the Solar System".

For more information about our project please check the synopsis and the treatment which we used for the application to the Media programme of the European Commission. Please forgive us the necessary generalizations and popularizing slant connected with the text, as the project runs to 120 pages by now.

The project itself is produced as a high-standard TV documentary for a broad audience, but I would like to keep it as academical as possible during its production...

By now I have contacted experts from Greece, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia who will collaborate with me on the project. If you know any colleague - in any other European country - who could be interested in a cooperation, please do not hesitate to forward them this information. All help will be financially compensated, of course, and it will consist mainly in helping me - being the main academical advisor to the supervisor - with academical commentaries to the scripts and treatments.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me anytime.

Kind regards
